Konwent Starostów Województwa Kujawsko-Pomorskiego i regionalna konferencja dot. ochrony środowiska

Związek Powiatów Polskich, Instytut na rzecz Ekorozwoju i Starosta Rypiński Marek Tyburski są organizatorami konferencji regionalnej „Powiaty liderami ochrony klimatu”. Konferencja odbędzie się wspólnie z Konwentem Starostów Województwa Kujawsko-Pomorskiego dnia 23 kwietnia 2014 r. o godz. 10.00 w Rypinie w Rypińskim Centrum Sportu, ul. Dworcowa 11a.

W konwencie udział wezmą starostowie powiatów z terenu naszego województwa, przedstawiciele Urzędu Marszałkowskiego, Wojewódzkiego Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej, Kujawsko-Pomorskiego Inspektoratu Ochrony Środowiska, Urzędu Wojewódzkiego oraz burmistrz miasta Rypin i wójtowie z terenu powiatu rypińskiego. Do udziału w spotkaniu zaproszeni zostali także kierownicy i dyrektorzy wydziałów ochrony środowiska starostw powiatowych, w związku z tym, iż tematem przewodnim konwentu będą zagadnienia dotyczące ochrony środowiska.

Konferencja będzie podzielona na trzy sesje tematyczne. Pierwsza dotyczyć będzie projektu pn. Dobry klimat dla powiatów, w którym bierze udział 115 powiatów. 22 z nich już zdecydowało się na poparcie działań ograniczających emisję gazów cieplarnianych poprzez podpisanie deklaracji „Dobry klimat dla powiatów”.

Druga sesja przeprowadzona zostanie w formie panelu dyskusyjnego pt. „Powiat liderem ochrony klimatu w regionie”. Tematem będzie rola, jaką może odegrać powiat na rzecz ochrony klimatu regionalnego w odniesieniu do rozwoju lokalnej gospodarki.

Trzecia sesja poświęcona będzie unijnym i krajowym źródłom finansowania ochrony klimatu w nowej perspektywie budżetowej 2014-2020. Ponadto zaprezentowane zostaną bankowe instrumenty wspierające przedsięwzięcia. Uczestnicy konferencji zostaną poinformowani jakie typy projektów będą mogły liczyć na finansowe wsparcie.

W trakcie konferencji przewidziane jest odrębne spotkanie starostów dotyczące bieżących spraw powiatów.
